How can I register myself in the site?

To register in the site of Rent and Visit you must access the main page of the portal. Then, in the superior menu choose the option “Join us!”, where you will have access to a page entirely dedicated to the property Owner. There, you can register only by giving your data. How can I create the ad of my vacation rental property?

After obtaining the Owner register in Rent and Visit’s portal, access your own personal account by doing the log-in at the top of the main page or in the Menu “Join us!” You can add a new property in the menu “Create a new advertisement”. It will be automatically sent to the editing process and a new announcement will be generated.



How will I know when a request for reservation is made?

The advertising system of Rent and Visit is thought so that you can always be informed about any doubts or contacts your guests have made. In the page of your vacation rental the guest or user will be able to fill in a small questionnaire, indicating his name, e-mail, telephone, wanted stay period, number of guests during stay period and there’s also a free space to ask any questions he may have. This information is automatically sent to your e-mail. We suggest that, when you indicate the name and e-mail of the person who will receive the information requests, the given address will be used frequently and with attention, because it will be an essential mean to communicate with your guests. You can also check the information requests, the data of whom sent them or even suggest guests to write a comment about your property by accessing your personal area through the option “Inquiries”.



Are there any imposed rules to manage my property?

How can I have access to the ad(s) of my property(ies)?

Access your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. You can also enter it by cliking in “Properties” in the main Menu.



How can I change an ad already published?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. You can also enter it by cliking in “Properties” in the main Menu. Choose the ad you want to alter and click on “Edit Property”. Here, you can introduce the necessary changes, always clicking “Save”. The changes you insert will be verified and, when approved, you will receive an e-mail notification.



How can I add photos of my vacation property to the ad?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. Click “Edit Property” in the property to which you want to add new photos. In “Photos”, search for a window which does not have an active Picture and choose “Change Image”. Upload the chosen Picture directly from your computer and it will be automatically adjusted to your ad. All the photos are submitted to approval before being published.



How can I update the availability calendar?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. Choose the property in which you want to update the calendar and click on “Availability”. You can also click on “Edit Property” and access “Availability” that way.



How can I create a new Reservation?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. Choose the property in which you want to update the calendar and click on “Availability”. In the calendar, choose the day of the beginning of the reservation and click to mark the period of stay and the name of the guest. Save the changes made and you will see the Availability Calendar in your ad updated.



How can I obtain a register of all the Reservations made?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. Choose the property in which you want to update the calendar and click on “Availability”. In the option “Reservations” you can access all the reservations ever made. You can also search them by entering date ranges.



How can I alter the rates in my ad?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. Choose the property in which you want to alter the rates. Then, in the side menu you will find the option “Update Rates”. You may also click on “Edit Properties” and there access the menu “Rates”.



May I suggest locations of interest in the map of the property?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. When you enter your personal area, you will view a list of your active properties. Choose the property to which you want to add points of interest. In the option “Location” click the button “Add points of interest”. Follow the instructions presented in the page.



How to use the “Language Editor”?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. In your personal area you can create a new ad or simply edit an old one, already published. You must use the option “Language Editor” so that an automatic translation is generated of the contents and information you are writing/ editing. Since it is an automatic translation, it can have mistakes, which you can alter as you prefer. Before entering the information in the fields of text, please select the language to which it will be translated in the “language editor”. Write the text in the designated fields and click “automatic translation”. The translated text will appear below.



Can I see how will the ad appear to my visitors?

Beside the main Menu, at the right side of the page, choose the option “Preview”. A new window will be opened with the image of the published ad.






May I access my personal folder whenever I want?

With Rent and Visit you will have access to your personal folder 24h a day. You can always alter your personal data, register data, characteristics of the property or type of subscription of the ad.



Who can access my data?

The registration on Rent and Visit is always made personally throughout the supply of an e-mail and a private password. The personal data supplied must be true. The given registration data should be used correctly and whenever requested. You should keep them in a safe place so that only the Owner of the property or people he trusts can access the Personal Folder. Rent and Visit will not be responsible for careless handling or incorrect transmission of data access to the Personal Folder.



How can I view the invoices issued of the published advertisements?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. In the area “My shortcuts” you will find the option “View Invoices”.






I have more than a property to rent, how should I advertise?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. You can add a new property in “My Shortcuts” or in the menu “Create a New Ad”.
It will be automatically sent to the editing process of a new property advertisement. When clicking on “Publish” you must indicate that it is an additional property. Fill in the fields with the characteristics of the property, save the settings and wait for a notification validating your announcement.



How do I keep my property in the top of Rent and Visit’s ranking?

We suggest that you update your data and the property calendar regularly. A good management of your personal folder and a constant update of the published announcement will transmit a responsible and cared image to the visitors and the Rent and Visit team.






What are “Last Minute Promotions”?

This area has ads with promotions carried out either by their owners or by Rent and Visit itself. Here you will also find properties to rent inserted in the categories “city-break vacations” or “last-minute vacations”.



What is included in the Golf theme?

In the subject area golf we highlight ads with properties located in countries where this sport is common and known. Therefore there is a greater offer of clubs, sports and leisure facilities where this sport benefits of free access. When editing your announcement, Access the menu “Special Promotions”. Then, insert the data about facilities and spaces specialized in the practice of golf in “Local Golf Informations”.



What is included in the Ski theme?

In the subject area Ski we highlight ads with properties located in countries where this sport is common and known. Therefore there is a greater offer of facilities prepared for the practice of this activity. When editing your announcement, access the menu “Special Promotions”. Then, insert the data about facilities and spaces specialized in the practice of Ski in “Local Ski Informations”.



What is included in the Beach theme?

In the highlighted area Beach, visitors will find ads with properties near beautiful and nearby beaches. When editing your announcement, access “Special Promotions”. Then, insert the data about nearby beaches surrounding your property in “Local Beach Information”.



What is included in the Country theme?

In the subject area Country we highlight ads with properties located in the country side or in rural areas with access to routes in green areas, where it is possible to wander or cycling. When editing your announcement, access “General Data” and classify your property with the theme Country, in the menu “Type of Location”.



What is included in the City theme?

In the City theme, visitors will find ads of properties in the main cities worldwide. Therefore they will have access to several activities, museums, events and festivities, ideal for a last minute or city-break stay. When editing your announcement, access “General Data” and classify your property with the theme City, in the menu “Type of Location”.






I forgot my password, how can I recover it?

Access the log-in area and click on “Forgot your Password”? You will receive in your e-mail the new password of Access to your personal area.



How can I alter my password?

Enter your personal area by logging-in at the top of the main page of the portal. You can alter your password in the area “My Shortcuts”, introducing the new password in the designated field. After validating the new password, you will receive a notification in your e-mail account.

As soon as you can answer the information requests about your property the more guests you will have, thereby increasing the occupation rate. A visitor that has his doubts answered rapidly will also make his decision about a possible reservation faster.
